Zuurstof afbouwen

Zo, de laatste update is al weer een hele tijd geleden, dus ik ga stiekem nu per week een en ander op laten schrijven door mama zodat het niet in 1x een mega update is!

In mijn laatste blog schreef ik dat ik al 3u zonder zuurstof had geoefend. Dat was echt super super knap van mij!

‘s Middags moest ik voor mijn vaccinaties naar ‘het kleine heldenhuis’, dat is de poli van het Sint Franciscus ziekenhuis maar dan in een gezellige soort woonkamer in plaats van een ziekenhuis setting. De neonatoloog wilde me meteen eventjes zien, en was erg trots op me! Papa en mama hadden alle toeters en bellen bij zich, behalve…. het vaccinatieboekje. Oeps! Gelukkig wist mama nog precies wanneer ik welke prik had gehad en konden ze dat ook in de computer opzoeken.

De dokter was erg tevreden en ikzelf eigenlijk ook, tot ik de prik kreeg (2 tegelijk!), dat vond. ik stom. Eenmaal thuis gingen we weer verder oefenen zonder extra zuurstof. Op ‘n gegeven moment vond mama dat ik een raar geluid maakte, en was ik nou aan het rillen? Papa kwam even kijken, en hup, de thermometer. Koorts! Even overlegd met het ziekenhuis, dat hoort bij de vaccinaties, paracetamolletje erin! Ook gaven papa en mama me weer extra zuurstof, niet echt het moment om verder te oefenen!

Ik knapte gauw weer op en later in de week konden we weer oefenen zonder extra zuurstof. Op vrijdag ben ik zelfs naar de verjaardag van oma gegaan zonder slangetjes, wow! Konden we meteen wat leuke foto’s maken met mijn nichtje erbij.

Na het weekend zou ik op maandag opgenomen worden voor mijn methylprednisolon kuur, maar toen mama ‘s ochtends de laatste spullen aan het inpakken was om de deur uit te gaan belde de dokter – het ziekenhuis lag helemaal vol dus ik kon donderdag pas komen. Papa en mama zouden vrijdag met vakantie gaan met mij dus ze waren niet heel blij, dan konden we zaterdag pas vertrekken. Mama heeft rondgebeld om te kijken of de thuiszorg kon helpen, en of er misschien een ander ziekenhuis plek had, maar nee – donderdag in het Sophia! Nouja, dat is dan zo, gelukkig dacht de verpleging goed mee en mocht ik donderdag ochtend vroeg komen, dan kon ik zaterdag ook. weer vroeg weg.

In plaats van 3x 3u per dag oefenen gingen papa en mama in die week al snel de hele dag oefenen, want ik word erg boos als je met pleisters en slangetjes gaat rommelen, dat is niet echt fijn 3x per dag! Wel nog de hele dag aan de monitor en ‘s nachts ook weer zuurstof. Het afbouwen ging super goed!

We hebben ook nog een leuk uitje naar de IKEA gedaan, ik was blij dat ik al die spullen niet in elkaar hoefde te zetten hoor.
